Jack Sweeney, CEO, Axeda
Jack Sweeney is an experienced CEO and business development executive with a proven track record of transforming companies into market leaders. With more than 20 years of experience in leading fast-growth technology companies, Sweeney brings the business acumen companies need for aggressive growth. Prior to joining Axeda, Sweeney was the executive chairman at Apparent Networks, a leading provider of remote network performance management solutions, assuming the role after a three-year tenure as chairman, president, and CEO of the company.

Before his position at Apparent Networks, Sweeney served as vice president at EMC, the world's leading developer and provider of information infrastructure technology and solutions. Prior to EMC, he was president and CEO of Network Intelligence, Inc. where he led the organization to a successful acquisition by EMC in July 2006. Before this, Sweeney was general partner at Prism Venture Partners, where he made significant investments in data security markets including GeoTrust, Ingrian Networks, and Silverback Technologies.
Robin Duke-Woolley, CEO, Beecham Research
Robin Duke-Woolley is Founder and CEO of Beecham Research Limited, a technology analyst and consulting firm based in London and Cambridge, UK and also located in Boston (MA), USA and Bonn, Germany. Beecham Research specialises in the M2M (machine-to-machine) market worldwide – also known as the Internet of Things – covering both business and consumer related applications and services in nine key sectors – Buildings, Energy/Utilities Consumer/Home, Healthcare, Industrial, Transportation, Retail, Security/Public Safety and IT/Networks. Robin has over 35 years experience in the telecom/IT industry as a manager in IT Systems Analysis, then Marketing Management, Sales Management and General Management in international technology vendor companies including General Electric Company, STC, Nortel, ICL and in start-ups, as a director of research at Dataquest/Gartner and as an independent consultant. He has focused on M2M and the Internet of Things since 2001. He is a frequent chairman and speaker in M2M conferences and workshops worldwide.
Emily Nagle Green, Chairman Emeritus, Yankee Group
Emily Green is the President and CEO of Smart Lunches LLC, a rapidly growing Internet retail business bringing fresh nutritious meals to children away from home. Before taking the reins at Smart Lunches, she was the Chairman of the Board of Yankee Group, a storied technology research firm that for over 40 years has guided a global clientele through profound connectivity change. She is currently Chairman Emeritus. From 2005 to 2010 she was the firm's CEO, partnering with investor Alta Communications in its acquisition and leading the transition to exploring the connected future it calls Anywhere. ANYWHERE, her book on the business impact of global connectivity, was published in January 2010 by McGraw-Hill. She is currently working on her second book, about the impact on enterprises of the rise of connected things.
Chris Hill, Vice President Advanced Mobility Solutions, AT&T
Chris Hill is the Vice President for Advanced Enterprise Mobility Solutions for AT&T Business Solutions (ABS). He is responsible for strategy, development and deployment of mobile applications and solutions for all business and government customers. He was appointed to his current position in November 2010. Most recently, Mr. Hill was the Vice President for Mobility Product Management for ABS, including such areas as machine to machine (M2M), fixed mobile convergence offers (FMC), small business solutions, and international managed services. Additionally, he has responsibility for the management and development of vertical line of business applications and solutions.
Charlie Isaacs, VP of Service Cloud Strategy, Salesforce.com
Charlie Isaacs has a track record of R&D leadership, starting with GTE (eventually became Verizon), where he served as Vice President of Engineering and headed a group of over 200 engineers working on government and commercial applications. Following GTE, Mr. Isaacs held R&D leadership positions at Answer Systems (acquired by Computer Associates), and served as Chief Technology Officer at Broad Daylight (sold to Primus) and at Primus Knowledge Systems until Primus’ acquisition by ATG. Charlie served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Customer Officer at Kana Software, Inc.

Mr. Isaacs holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara and an MBA from California Lutheran University. Charlie left KANA in 2009 and joined the Alcatel-Lucent/Genesys Global Innovations Group where he filed several SoLoMo (Social/Local/Mobile) patents and guided several customer service applications. Charlie joined Salesforce in 2012 and is VP of Service Cloud Strategy. Charlie has over 15 years of CRM experience.
Ayan Mukerji, Sr. VP & Global Head, Media & Telecom Strategic Business Unit, Wipro
Ayan Mukerji is the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Wipro's Media and Telecom Strategic Business Unit. In his previous role, Ayan headed Wipro’s Product Engineering Solutions business unit. The unit included semiconductor and system solutions, mobile devices, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, aerospace & defense, industrial automation, medical devices, high performance & cloud computing, peripherals and technical publications. Over his tenure of more than two decades at Wipro, Ayan has held a wide range of leadership positions across IT, Product Engineering and Systems Integration businesses. In his previous role, as the Chief Sales and Operations Officer for Europe until March 2010, he transformed Europe into one of Wipro's fastest growing regions. Under his leadership Europe grew significantly ahead of competition and established a stronghold in different markets. Ayan has been instrumental in driving growth and expanding Wipro’s customer base in France, Germany and the Nordics in particular. Wipro also grew its European development center footprint by opening new offices in Rennes (France), Cologne (Germany), Oslo (Norway), Reading, and London (UK), during his two year stint.
Michael A. Ueland, Sr. VP & General Manager, Telit Wireless Solutions
Michael Ueland is the Senior Vice President of Sales & General Manager of Telit Wireless Solutions, North America, the U.S.-based mobile technology arm of Telit Communications (AIM: TCM). Ueland directs Telit’s North American operations as well as develops and executes the sales and market strategy for Telit’s M2M module products, which enable machines, vehicles and other devices to communicate via cellular networks. With over 15 years of experience in the M2M segment, Ueland is a well-respected thought leader and accomplished entrepreneurial business professional, with a proven record of leading successful start-up operations from early stage to high-growth, profitable ventures. Mike received a B.A. in Political Science from Kenyon College and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth Graduate School of Business.
Mike Wendell, Vice President Industry Solutions, SAP
Mike Wendell is the Vice President of Industry Business Solutions for SAP Americas. His team of industry experts represents the 24 industries SAP supports.  Mike has 18 years experience in the software industry, focused on serving manufacturing companies.  His organization is responsible for helping SAP customers leverage SAP's industry-leading enterprise applications and technologies to deliver quantifiable business value, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.  Prior to his software career, Mike held management positions at High Tech and Primary Metals manufacturers.
Bill Zujewski, EVP, Product Strategy & Marketing
Bill Zujewski has over 20 years of product strategy and global marketing experience in enterprise software and business applications. He has a proven track record of defining innovative products for emerging markets and bringing leading-edge and game-changing products to market.  Before joining Axeda, Bill was Vice President of Product Marketing at Art Technology Group (ATG), the leader in e-Commerce software, where he helped the company double revenue from 2006 to 2010. Bill previously led product management and product marketing at edocs, Inc., and Broadvision, Inc. While at Broadvision Bill also led professional services and oversaw dozens of highly visible and ground breaking projects including the launching of online shopping on HomeDepot.com, Walmart.com, and GESupply.com.

Mahbubul is an experienced and innovative executive, with passion for creating new businesses and organizations. He is an industry-wide recognized leader with proven track record spanning product management, business development, gap analysis and marketing strategy, in multi-service router, switches, WLAN, IEEE 802.15.4 wireless communications protocols, cellular technologies such as 2G, 3G and 4G LTE, Femto, Small Cell, M2M, GPS, Connected Vehicle and Intelligent Transportation Systems.
 Philippe Ameryckx, General Manager of the Remote Services and Support Business Unit, Abbott
Philippe has worked for Abbott Laboratories since 1987, initially starting as a sales representative in Belgium. He worked in various sales and sales training positions, moved on to the marketing and business unit management division in ADD Belgium, before moving to Germany in 2000 to become the Regional Service manager for Europe Regions—and as of 2001 the Service Director for EMEA. Today, Philippe holds the role of General Manager of the Remote Services and Support Business Unit.
Joe Biron, Vice President, Technology and Innovation, Axeda
Joe Biron has worked as a software engineer, architect, and technology leader for more than 15 years. An expert in machine-to-machine (M2M) platform and application technology, Joe is responsible for running cross-functional initiatives that drive technical strategies across the company and served as Senior Architect during the design and implementation of Axeda's award-winning cloud platform. Joe also leads the Axeda Innovationeers – a group that enables both new and existing customers to get the most out of M2M through innovative applications and enterprise integrations, all built on the Axeda Platform. Joe holds a B.S. degree in computer science from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Nikolaus (Klaus) Brunner, Lead Development Engineer, GE Energy Gas Engines Division
With more than 15 years in the controls development department at GE Energy, Klaus is the technical project lead for the Gas Energy division's connected product initiative. He has deep experience with M2M, introducing the first remote monitoring system to the business based on analog modem technologies back in 1997 after beginning his career as a programmer of PLC systems with a focus on remote monitoring solutions. Klaus also architected a legacy, VPN-based solution used to connect more than 1,000 sites before ultimately choosing Axeda as their M2M application development platform. He graduated technical college for electronics/telecommunications in Austria.
Anders Buch, Remote Diagnostic Manager, Getinge
Anders Buch joined Getinge in 2000 and has since worked many roles where technology and business development meet. That includes everything from creating a complete service concept for Getinge's software product portfolio, developing solution-oriented business models, and successfully bringing the global Getinge Online offering to market with its customer and service capabilities.
 Brad Burton, Manager, Process and Diagnostics Software, Varian Medical Systems
Brad Burton has worked in the engineering field at Varian for the past 34 years. His career began as an equipment installer and has evolved to Product Support Engineering Manager. Current projects include the development of remote access to medical devices, comprised of on-board diagnostics for hardware interfaces and software diagnostics. This includes worldwide customer service databases and Web sites.
 Matthew Davis, Research Director, Gartner, Inc.
Matthew Davis is a director with Gartner's Supply Chain Research, covering supply chain strategy across industries. He is the lead analyst for supply chain segmentation, customer-focused supply chain and supply chain for solutions business models. Mr. Davis' previous job included multiple functional rotations across supply chain and operations, such as logistics, materials forecasting, S&OP, end-to-end supply chain design, sales operations, and business operations. He has expertise in process improvement frameworks, including Lean, Six Sigma, SCOR and Organizational Design.

Jason DePardo, Director of Technical Support, Isilon Storage Division of EMC
Jason DePardo is responsible for strategy, development, and growth of Isilon’s advanced technical support organization, servicing more than 2,200 customers worldwide.  With 15 years of experience in customer support, professional services, and leveraging technology to scale businesses, Jason joined Isilon Systems in early 2009.  He led the transformation and expansion of the technical support organization as Isilon accelerated its growth to 90%+ throughout 2010 and beyond. Isilon was acquired by EMC in December 2010.  Today, as a division of EMC, he is leading efforts to further scale Isilon support and integrate into EMC’s global infrastructure and Centers of Excellence around the world.Before joining Isilon, Jason held several senior-level roles where he leveraged technology to enable high-growth businesses, including the development and roll-out of EMC’s global remote support system.  He is recognized as a thought leader in employing secure remote technology within the storage industry.  His expertise is in helping businesses scale their operations during Uber-growth while delivering a proactive, global, enterprise-class service experience to customers.  Jason holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a High Tech M.B.A. from Northeastern University.
Dan DuBeau, Project Manager Remote Access, Varian Medical Systems
Dan DuBeau stated with Varian in 1996 as a field service engineer and specialist on hardware and software systems. In 2005 Dan became Program Manager of Remote Access. In his current role, he manages Varian's remote access and support programs focusing on internal and external adoption and customer satisfaction.
Michael Ehrhart, Senior Director of Systems Technology, Welch Allyn
Michael Ehrhart is Senior Director of Systems Technology at Welch Allyn in Skaneateles, NY, a developer of physical assessment and vital signs medical solutions. In this role, Michael leads initiatives for the company's software and service products. In particular, he focuses on technology partnerships, remote service of medical devices and systems, and system-level testing. Prior to joining Welch Allyn, Michael was Chief Technology Officer at Hand Held Products in Skaneateles, New York. He was responsible for the core competency and advanced technology organizations. In this role, Michael led innovation initiatives in the areas of imaging hardware and software, and advanced technologies that have a two- to three- year product horizon. Michael is an inventor on more than 20 patents.  He earned a B.S. in electrical engineering from SUNY Maritime College and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester Simon School of Business.
Dave Hart, CTO Axeda
David has been a prime mover in successive generations of connectivity solutions, playing a key role in designing, evangelizing, and realizing innovative connected product offerings.  In his current role he is focused on new technologies, use cases, and solution architectures based on the Axeda technology to help enable product advancement and customer success.
Bob Haviland, Senior Director of Engineering, Axeda
As Chief Engineer, Bob has responsibility for product architecture and delivery. Focused on maintaining and building product infrastructure, Bob's concerns extend toward delivering highly performing and scalable solutions. He has more than 10 years of experience designing, building, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
 David Hofert, Senior Director of Java Embedded Solutions, Oracle
David Hofert is the Senior Director of Java Embedded Solutions within Oracle’s Alliances and Channels group.  His team is responsible for creating solutions with customers and partners that leverage the range and depth of Java platforms and technologies for devices.  David has been in high-tech with Sun since 1988 and has led teams in sales, marketing, and engineering covering Java, Solaris, and various embedded technologies.  He recently spent a year focused on data collection and analysis for predictive behavior in the mobile/consumer space. David holds a patent for cross-language search and retrieval techniques.  He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and an Executive MBA from Boston University.  He resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
Kevin Holbrook, Director of Software Development, Axeda
Kevin Holbrook joined Axeda as part of the Professional Services team in 2007, and currently serves as Director of Software Development in the R&D group. In this role he contributes to the Platform product architecture, bringing with him the customer focus and experience gained in numerous customer interactions. Kevin loves everything software-related, and spends his free time experimenting with new languages and frameworks.
Scott Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder, All Traffic Solutions
In his freshman year of college, Scott opened a restaurant that delivered videos with pizza, an innovative combination at the time. Out-of-the-box thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit have continued to characterize Scott's professional career. Twelve years ago, Scott co-founded All Traffic Solutions, and has been focused on evolving its original manufacturing footprint to one of a solution provider. As the inventor of a key patent-pending technology and architect of the accompanying business strategy, Scott has leveraged his background in finance and marketing and his fascination for technology to take advantage of the convergence underway in the marketplace. The end result is a new business model on track to transform the company he co-founded and to improve the way his customers do their jobs.
Jim Klink, Manager Professional Services, Axeda
Jim has over 27 years of professional experience in software development and delivering customized solutions in data acquisition and analysis. He has been part of the Axeda team for 11 years as a key software developer. Jim began at Axeda in R&D, designing and developing the Axeda® Agent and after 7 years he moved on to working directly with the customer in training, architecture, and development of Agent custom software.
 
Dan Linares, Technical Project Manager, Axeda
Dan joined Axeda two years ago in the Professional Services organization. Dan brings over 9 years of software experience to Axeda, working with customers to gather their technical requirements, clearly define project timeline and milestones, and ensuring customer expectations are met. During his time at Axeda Dan has worked with over 30 different customers, in various industries, including CareFusion, SEN, EMC, and ThermoFisher.
Audi Lucas, Program Manager and Nikolaus Brunner, Technology Lead, GE Jenbacher
Audi Lucas is Service Systems Program Manager for GE Energy Jenbacher. Audi joined the company in 2010, serving as the service business lead, systems architect, and other technical duties for the company's connected product initiative. Prior to his role at GE Energy Jenbacher, Audi held various marketing and service roles in the health care field for Draeger Medical, GE Healthcare, and Philips Healthcare. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Industrial Technology Management and served time in the U.S. Air Force as a maintenance officer.
Paul Mercina, Director of Product Management,  Global Technology and Services, Diebold
As Director, Software and Services Product Management, Paul Mercina is responsible for leading Diebold's global product management organization in developing and managing the life cycle of services and solutions within Diebold's growing Integrated Services line of business. In 2007, Paul led the development and implementation of Diebold's award-winning OpteView remote service initiative, which has resulted in improved service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Joseph Moore, Systems Administrator, SAIC
Joe has seven years of experience leading the development and implementation of remote monitoring and remote access system of products for cargo security and other industries. He is currently the Lead Remote Services Design Specialist for SAIC's Security and Transportation Technology (STT) Business Unit. Proficient in multiple coding languages, Joe has built and maintains a DMZ environment that leverages his experience with multiple operating systems (Linux/Windows), several VPN clients, and network architecture/design.
Paul Novak, Vice President, Saas Operations, Axeda
Paul Novak is an experienced SaaS operations executive with over 15 years of experience in leading technology operations teams. He has a proven track record of delivering operational standards and improvement efforts that result in the enterprise class service levels required to serve global SaaS customers. Before joining Axeda, Paul was Vice President of Hosting Operations at PowerSteering software where he was responsible for the security, performance and availability of the company's SaaS PPM solution that served over 140 customers in 70+ countries, including many government agencies. Prior to PowerSteering Paul was director of information technology at Egenera, a worldwide data center virtualization software and hardware manufacturer.
Jason Reslock, Manager Customer Support, Axeda
15 years of experience ranging from internal IT and operations to technical support and quality assurance.  4+ years with Axeda starting in 2007 as a Senior Support Engineer and have now been managing the support organization for 2 years.
Scott Rousseau, Director of Predictive/Remote Services, NCR
Scott oversees NCRs Global Predictive and Remote Resolutions programs, focusing on service enhancements and deployments worldwide. He has been with NCR for more than 15 years and has managed a variety of areas in the service organization including: major account support for European and Asia-Pacific partners, standardization of the Asia-Pacific Remote Service business, as well as building out the call center infrastructure for the region.  Scott was also responsible for the introduction of Oracle ES to the global Remote Services teams.  Prior to joining NCR Scott lead the services introduction for mid-range servers in North America for BULL HN, a French computer manufacturer.  Scott has his Masters of Engineering in Management of Information Systems from Northeastern University (Boston) and completed his undergraduate work at Stonehill College.
Randy Thompson, Director, Sales Engineering
Joining the company at its inception, Randy Thompson is one of the most senior employees at Axeda and has been involved with the sales and implementation of Axeda remote service technology since the beginning. Randy has worldwide management responsibility for a highly experienced team of presales engineers and is on the leading edge of introducing new Axeda products into the market.
Martin Tobias, Sr. Innovationeer, Axeda
Martin is a long-serving employee at Axeda with strong knowledge and experience of Axeda technology. Over his time at Axeda, he has integrated Axeda with third-party CRM/ERP systems, such as Salesforce.com and SAP, and developed a variety of demonstrations and sample applications. Currently, Martin plays an integral role in maintaining Axeda’s world-class developer site: the Axeda Developer Connection.
